The Revit Volcano Ladies Gloves are coming built to offer enough light weight and ventilation to let you finally conquer that volcano trail without overheating. More seriously though, the gloves are designed with a lightweight, ventilation focused design that will make them a strong option for summer riders who are really looking for feel at the controls and airflow.
These adventure gloves will be coming a little bit under the Revit Kinetic gloves, though if you like their greater TPR knuckle coverage, but want a bit more, then you can also upgrade to the Revit Sand 4 Ladies Gloves. So, with a recommended retail price of about 60 Euros or 70 USD, these gloves will be competing with the Dainese X-Moto, Alpinestars Corozal Drystar, and the Klim Badlands Aero Pro Gloves.
Material
The Rev’It! Volcano Ladies Motorcycle Gloves are coming made of artificial leather in the palm and back of the hand, and there is going to be 3D air mesh in the cuff, thumb, and the middle, ring, and little finger.
This will make sure that you get plenty of airflow coming onto your hands, and for stretch there is going to be autman fabric in between the fingers for comfort. Lastly, there are also reflective inserts in the stretch lips of the gloves.
Safety
For safety, the Rev’It Volcano Women’s Dual Sport Gloves are mainly coming with TPR injected finger knuckles to give you lightweight safety without losing out on a good level of ventilation. Not content with this though, Revit have also added some of their SEESOFT impact absorbing layer underneath the knuckles to add to the gloves’ safety. And, if you’re familiar with Revit’s other gear, you’ll also notice that this is the same material that Revit use in their back protectors, so that’s nice to see.
In addition to this, you’re also getting Temperfoam at the knuckle, palm, and fingers to give you a better level of impact absorption in the gloves. Lastly, the gloves also include PWR shield material at the palm, which will help improve abrasion resistance as well.
The gloves are EN 13594 Level 1 KP certified. This means that the gloves have undergone additional knuckle impact protector testing and that they’ve focused a bit more on comfort over abrasion resistance, which is standard for most dual sport gloves. If you are looking at these gloves and feel like you’d like a bit more protector coverage though, you can always go that next level up to the Rev’It! Sand 4 Ladies Gloves, which are one of the most popular of Revit’s adventure line.
Comfort
Since the Revit Volcano Ladies Gloves are going to be lighter, they will be comfortable and easy to put on. First off, you have a entry assist loop followed by a Velcro cuff strap for tightening. With the glove on, the stretch materials and textile will make sure that you get plenty of flexibility and comfort and the knuckle protector is designed to flex and avoid tight spots.
Remember, for a nice level of airflow for riding in the summer you are getting plenty of 3D air mesh along the upper areas of the glove with a few additional perforations in the palm and fingers. Lastly, the index finger also comes with a Revit Connect Fingertip, which means that you can easily interact with your touch screen devices without the gloves having to come off.
Summary
The Revit Volcano Ladies Riding Gloves are offering a strong budget option for riders looking to try out more adventure off-road riding without breaking the bank. The Revit gloves are bringing a nice level of safety in the knuckles as well as a decent amount of impact absorbing features throughout.
