The Revit Spectrum Motorcycle Glove are mainly coming as a more comfort and style focused urban sport glove. With a set of Revit Quantum graphics, they’ll nicely match with the Revit Quantum 2 WB Jacket or any other option from the expansive Quantum range.
The Rev’It Spectrum Urban Gloves will be coming in a wide range of colors including black, black-red, black grey, and black-yellow Quantum patterns, and a dark green camo version, and they are coming in men’s and women’s cuts. So, with a recommended retail price of about 60 Euros, or 70USD, the gloves will be competing with the Dainese Mig C2, Icon Contra2, and the Alpinestars S Max Drystar Gloves.
Material
For material, the Revit Spectrum Riding Gloves are coming with a goat leather palm with a water-resistant finish as well as an additional artificial leather grip patch to help reduce wear and tear. On the back, the gloves are coming with PWR Shell stretch material and Revit have used a sublimation process to give you those great graphics for a better feel.
PWR Shell Stretch is Revit’s main stretch textile designed with polyamide fabrics for abrasion resistance. For comfort, the area between the fingers is coming with automan stretch material while the cuff is fully made of neoprene to avoid chafing.
Safety
For safety, the Revit Spectrum Gloves are going to be bringing a lighter level more similar to the Revit Kinetic Adventure Gloves, since they are more focused on comfort. First, you are getting an injected flexible knuckle protector that will keep you covered as well as balancing both coverage and safety.
In addition to this, you are also getting Revit’s Temperfoam at the fingers, palm, thumb, and underneath the knuckles for impact absorption. The gloves are still coming Level 1 certified, which isn’t bad since Revit have also had the knuckle protector tested, which is usually optional in this testing range.
Comfort
Comfort is what these gloves have really been built for. First, to put them on, the gloves use an entry assist loop and a Velcro closing strap to make sure that the gloves stay on. Once on, the interior is nicely finished and the stretch fabric along the top will go a long way in allowing you to comfortably handle your bike, which is also good to see.
For a final plus, the Revit gloves are also coming with Connect fingertips in the index finger and thumb, which means that you can use them with a touchscreen, which is very handy in the city.
Summary
The Revit Spectrum Gloves are definitely coming built with a focus on comfort since their textile construction and flexible protectors will leave your hands with a great range of motion as well as decent temperature control.
