The Revit Filter Riding Shoes are bringing us motorcycle ready protection alongside a high top style that’s sure to stand out. These shoes are coming with all the top casual features including that transparent sole, ventilation for warm weather riding, and additional reinforcements throughout to keep you covered. These shoes will be coming in this black and red and a grey and neon yellow design, so make sure you use the Revit size chart when trying to decide what sneakers you’re going for. An alternative to the Filter Shoes will be the Revit Pacer, Dainese Atipica Air, Dainese Persepolis, Icon Superduty 5, Revit Arrow Shoes and the Revit Mission Shoes.
Material
The Revit filter shoes are primarily made of a mix of nubuck soft leather and suede for style. The suede is mainly found around the top of the ankle, tongue, and just above the sole while you’re getting that nubuck soft leather around the middle of the shoe with some extra perforations for airflow. Lastly, in the back, the entry assist pull tab is fully reflective, which means you’ll also be more visible and there is a shifter protector in the toe to help with durability.
Safety
For safety, the shoes are coming with what we’d expect for this category of shoe. This means that we’re getting an injected ankle cup with a thermoformed heel cup and toe cup, which will give you some good impact protection. The shoes themselves are EN 13634 certified to level 1, so you are getting that basic level of protection on the bike, and this is about the standard level for most sneakers since they are going to be less abrasion resistant and protective than something like a pair of sport boots.
Comfort
Lastly, as far as the Filter’s comfort, we’re also seeing some nice things from Revit. For airflow, you’re getting this large amount of perforation throughout while you also have a nice and sturdy set of laces all the way to the top. The sole is coming in a hightop design but with a good level of grip and that really interesting clear sole. Inside, you are getting a soft mesh liner, which will also help with flowing air and keeping your feet cool and to make walking more comfortable, there is a set of Ortholite X40 insoles already included.
The Revit Filter shoes are bringing plenty of that urban styling from Revit that we’ve come to know and love. Featuring refreshed looks and materials, the shoes will do well for motorcycle riders looking to keep casual and safe.
