Klim Women’s Latitude Jacket-Europe Gray

The Klim Latitude Jacket forms the backbone of Klim’s mid-segment touring line. With it’s updated design, Gore-Tex construct, long distance ergonomics, and high level of protection and ventilation, the Latitude jacket is a formidable piece of gear. The jacket even comes with D3O limb and back armor that has been certified to CE Level 2.

As such, the Klim Latitude Motorcycle Jacket will compete with the Revit Defender Pro Gore-Tex and the Dainese D-Explorer 2 Gore-Tex Jackets.

Material

The Klim Latitude Jacket uses a Gore-Tex 2-Layer Performance Shell exterior in the main body with 840D Cordura laminate in high abrasion zones. This ensures that the jacket is both completely waterproof and abrasion resistant. The jacket also uses goat leather reinforcements in the shoulder and elbow to also help against abrasion.

Lastly, the jacket includes 3M Scotchlite reflective material for increased low light visibility.

Safety

When touring, it’s always better to have a higher level of protection. Though this often means that the jacket’s comfort suffers as a result, this is not the case with the Latitude jacket thanks to D3O armor. D3O protectors are very flexible, which means they will be much more comfortable, but they turn hard when in an impact to still give you effective protection

The Latitude jacket comes with D3O T5 EVO Pro XT elbow and shoulder protectors and even includes a D3O Viper 2 Stealth back pad. These protectors are certified to CE Level 2 and have been tested for various temperatures. The pockets holding the armor are also adjustable and made of Klimatek cooling stretch mesh for better comfort.

The jacket also comes with a connection zipper so that you can combine the Latitude jacket and pants.

Comfort

Since the Latitude jacket is meant for touring, it has also been designed to perform in various conditions and temperatures. The jacket includes 6 ventilation spaced around the body, which have also been backed by cooling fabric. There are 2 large vents in the forearms, 2 chest intakes, and there are 2 new back vertical exhaust vents to improve ventilation.

The collar can also be folded back for better ventilation thanks to collar hooks.

The jacket also includes numerous pockets on the outside for better storage. There are 2 long chest map pockets, 2 front hand pockets, a secret chest pocket, and a convenient forearm ID pocket. Inside the jacket, there are 4 additional pockets with a 5th secret pocket behind the backpad.

To adjust the jacket, there are cinch straps in the waist, 2 sleeve adjustment straps, a bottom hem adjuster, and a cinch in the collar.
